About Us

This isn’t just another blog—it’s the “About Us” you actually want to read. Like that one friend who’ll take you on a casual stroll through Gujarat’s colourful storyland… with maybe a typo or two. Whether you’re Gujarati, a curious traveller, or just fond of good tales, you’re in the right spot.

Who we are

Hey! We’re just normal people who really like gujarat and everything about it 😄 Some of us live here, some visited once and never forget it, and some just got pulled in by all the stories and vibes.
We all are kind of different, but one thing is same — we all are crazy about this land.

Gujarat Diaries is not just any blog or website, it’s more like our diary where we just write and post about things we see, feel and enjoy. Temples, deserts, food stalls, festivals, weird facts — all the stuff we come across, we like to share with you all.

We don’t do everything perfect or like professional travel people. We just go out, talk to locals, click some pics (sometimes blurry lol), and write what we feel. Sometimes we miss spell or write long, but that’s fine, it’s real and from heart.

If you also like those type of places that not everyone talks about, or want to know what’s behind the main roads and famous spots — then this is for you.

Let’s explore gujarat together, no hurry, just story by story 🌍

What Makes Us Different?

We believe every traveler deserves to experience the real Gujarat — beyond the brochures and big cities. Gujarat Diaries is our humble effort to archive its treasures, guide explorers, and celebrate its living culture.

Join us as we uncover stories, celebrate festivals, try new foods, and take you on a journey across Gujarat like never before.

WHAT WE DO

Culture Stories-  We share fun stories about Gujarat’s folk culture—from Navratri outfits to old stepwells.

Festival Fun- We dive into big events like Navratri Garba, kite festivals, and even small local fairs. Yes, we get lost in crowds—every single time.

Chats with Artists- We talk to folk musicians, dancers, artisans—people playing dhol, morchang, singing Sanedo—sometimes they teach us a step or two, and we do stumble while filming, haha.

GUJARAT TOURISM

Why We Do This

People swaying rhythmically during Navratri . This celebration is central to festivals in Gujarat

Because Gujarat’s soul shows up in its stories, from daily village rituals to festivals like Navratri and Uttarayan. We believe sharing these tales sparks pride, curiosity, and real connections across durations and cultures.

Our Promise

  • Always real, sometimes messy, but respectful of the Gujarati spirit
  • Well-researched, with input from locals and folk experts
  • Amplifying voices—especially those of unheard artists and forgotten villages
